Pinterest was a social media website that I was not so sure about until it was used a lot more. I could never really work out the reason for it being used until I saw others using it. I now use Pinterest on a regular basis just to share other images and meet new people who also have the same interests as me, it can be quite a lot of fun.
Does anyone here use Pinteret? What are your thoughts on it and what do you mainly use it for?

I have used pinterest before, I don't really like it in my opinion..
I guess it is a good place to go if you are needing to find cool recipes and stuff like that.

I use Pinterest to advertise my t-shirt designs. Pinterest is image based so only certain types of sites can advertise on it. Once you start uploading some awesome pictures, people start following you like crazy!

It can work really well if you have images that catch people's eyes. I personally for my blogs and forums will upload photo's of things that I am talking about on either place a long with a description and link and if the image is popular it can get repinned a lot meaning that it gets seen by a lot of people and with many paying attention to descriptions a lot of the time your blog/forum can get a lot of views and potential members. It's worth trying at least to see how well it works for you  |

At first I felt it was kind of a girly website because I'm pretty sure the majority of their traffic is from females but once I actually gave it a try I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice browsing through pictures of things I was interested in or random things that happened to spark my interest. Definitely a cool site to be a part of.

I have tried pinterest but it really isn't my thing. I am usually trying to do something bigger, like work on this website or make some online money which has successfully been working lately! |

It feels like tumblrs brother that is really useless , I used it for a day than quit it because it was not my thing.

Pinterest is an awesome social media site! It is so good because it is around visual. You get more information in few time with visual. That way also, you can get inspiration for writing new articles. And, it is a nice way to get traffic to a website and make money with conversion optimization!
