At first I thought Obama Care was just to make Obama rich, but some people say that Obama Care is really cheap and helps them a whole lot.
Yet he is making EVERYONE pay for it, and if they don't have insurance he fines them. Which I think is stupid because it was an amendment stating that us US citizens do not have to buy what we don't want. Well there is one thing he has changed.. What do you think about obama care?

I believe Obama Care really is beneficial to the majority of America but for some it can be a problem. This site has a nice list of pros and cons of Obama Care. In my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons. obamacarefacts.com/obamacare-pros-and-cons.php |

I still don't understand how he can make people pay for it when they shouldn't have to pay for anything they don't want.

I personally don't like ObamaCare as well. And, I agree with Devin. Why should people pay for a service they don't want? It's like taxes, but worse. All I hear is the cons and negativity about it. Anything on the news concerning it is always negative. I never once hear anything good about it, so why should I be convinced that it's a good thing?

Thank you for agreeing collin at least I have someone that agrees with me!  Plus there are a few things in the amendment, Amendment 8 - Prohibits excessive fines and excessive bail, as well as cruel and unusual punishment. (Obama fines people if they don't have insurance for no reason) I couldn't find the one that says we shouldn't have to pay for a service we don't want but I know it is in there. |

Not being a US Citizen myself this is something I have only read about and heard about from friends I have from across the pond. A few of them love ObamaCare whereas others would rather not be involved with it.
Correct me if I am wrong but should health care not be something you should only pay for it you need it? In which case, why are people having to pay for it either way?

No one should have to pay for anything they do not want, but yet he is forcing them to do so. If they do not pay for it, he will fine them around $5000.00. If they do not pay that fine he will place them in jail..
Which is horrible.

You actually could be fined more, Devin. It depends on where you hear it from.
I think Obama Care is stupid, and it's earning Obama too much money. He wants to gain power, and making everyone have insurance gains him some.
Obama doesn't and shouldn't be forcing people to something they can't afford. So what if it's cheap! Some people can't bring a bottle of water to their family, and they're supposed to start buying Obama's crap? Well, that's going to be a problem I'd say.
Although the world outside the US has gone to hell, Obama's creating hell in the US without us even realizing it. He's tearing the US dollar out from the inside. He's creating chaos alongside everything else he's done, WITH Obama Care. I don't think it's a bad idea for myself, nor do I think it's a bad idea for the people who can afford it.
Although it seems all sweet to me and you, and for what he's said about it, we're just not hearing it all. What if YOU and I couldn't afford it? What if we both knew the whole entire whippy whoo about Obama Care? Not a single fact, decision, or Term missed? I can tell you right now, we wouldn't be having a jolly time thinking about Obama Care.
I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Well you are right, some people can't afford it and just thinking about those people that will be fined even when they can't afford some insurance. Be fined a whole lot, then if they cannot afford that they have to go to jail which is horrible. But you are also right that the whole world outside of the US is having their own troubles. (In my religion) In the Bible it says that wars will start among Israel and that is exactly what is happening now, which is only the beginning of everything that is suppose to happen. So look forward to things getting much worse. But the Lord says before the worse comes if you are right with him he will go ahead and take you so you wont have to see all that evil and bloodshed.

Well to be honest jupiter8619, You get what you want too. Find what's best for you. People say Obama Care is cheap, but if Obama get's kicked out of office for some reason, you are just left stranded once again. Because his service will be shut down. |

I guess I should look into something else than, I suppose. Do you believe the next president will get rid of Obama Care? Some people are hoping that this whole thing get's sweeped under the rug.

I highly doubt that the next president can do anything about it. After all he did make it a law now. The only way it will go away is if the president get's kicked out of office. Then all his laws will be put down.
