Is revenge sometimes justified?
Sometimes I don't feel its right to sit there and get even with someone. I hate that. If someone treats me badly when I first meet them or if I get to know them, I try to keep an open mind and I think they are just upset or inconvenienced. I like to give people a chance. Even if I shouldn't. I am against other people victimizing someone else though.But normally if someone does something bad to me or rips me off morally or in some way. I just quit having anything to do with them. Even if I extracted some sort of revenge on them. Would they still respect me or learn a lesson ? No. The only thing that I would be satisfied is my pride and honor. I feel the biggest honor is to let that person self destruct on their own and not bring me down with them.
What bothers me is some people don't agree with that. They feel getting even is right and sometimes ask me why I let them walk away. So I'd like to ask, is letting someone who wronged you walk away, get away with it, more justified than getting even ?
