I have no idea. So much can change in that amount of time. I worked at Wal-Mart for 3 years and quit, now I work out of an office. It's hard to tell because I don't know. Who really does?

In 5 years I will probably be living on my own, with an amazing job. Also hoping to goodness that Referral Directory has grown and is very active.

Yeah, I can see that happening for you. 5 years, a lot of things can change for you and that's plenty of time for a forum to grow into what you're working towards. So 5 years from now, will you miss how you started this place and some of the people who helped you and went inactive? When I played on line games, Guild Wars in 2006. I met this guy named Jarod, and he went inactive. But he was really cool and I really never heard from him again. Supposedly he worked fast food as a manager at a lodge and he and his wife were getting a divorce. After he told me that he became less and less active. Plus we talked on the phone quite a bit. Good people like that you miss talking too. I've met some amazing people on the internet in my time especially in gaming.

To be honest I will miss those who become inactive that once helped me get everything set up and running. I mean after all they are the ones that helped it grow.
When I first joined smallworlds in 2010, I met this guy and his name was Sibo. We played around and I called him Uncle Sibo because he would buy me basically anything I wanted. About 4 months later after getting to know him real well he pulled me to his space on smallworlds and told me that he was going to quit playing, and he was going to give his account away to a friend.
So once he quit I hate to see that he doesn't play anymore. I can't even find his account on smallworlds anymore, it has been deleted. But there is nothing I could do about it. So I know how you feel. He was the kind of guy that would take you under his wing and show you around.

Its best to get their number and stay in touch. If you can. I know that may sound a little creepy. But if you can trust them and they trust you. That is all that matters.

Because I've met a lot of people and they've gone inactive. I wish there was some way I could just talk to them. Some I know are on facebook, but they didn't make an impact with my online experiences and social life.

Well I do have him as a friend on my smallworlds avatar account friends, but we don't talk much. Well, people do grow a part. I was good friends with this one guy for a while. But sometimes he got on my nerves. Just one day we quit talking. He used to get online but I guess his bad qualities out weighed the good for me. I do miss talking to him. I guess sometimes we need a break from one another. Only time will tell when we wish to speak to them again.
