Why do I feel that Ebola is going around in Texas at the moment? I mean, I'm pretty irritated about this because we just let that guy from wherever walk in here in the States with it. 2 people apparently believe they have it because they handled things in his apartment and are now  , yet they have not be diagnosed yet. We have people in quarantine. Why haven't they made a vaccine yet? Ebola was discovered in 1976 and there was never a vaccine made? Why do we only care when we know its possible to happen now? This is annoying. No one cared until that guy came over here. If there's an outbreak, I'm going to be really mad and really annoyed with the CDC. |

It is very annoying but you know, we probably wouldn't have ebola in the USA if the dang president would put the borders back up and leave them up.

Oh my gosh I KNOW!!! WHY ARE PEPLE SO STUPID!! They should have just closed down the airports in Africa, forbidding planes to come into the port, and out of it. People are so frikin stupid sometimes!!  I mean, they send troops to Africa. It's not like they can SHOOT the disease dead :/ 0-0 |

petlover500, well he wasn't diagnosed with it while he was over there. But he wouldn't have got in if Obama wouldn't have let the borders down. If he would raise them back up we probably wouldn't have these kinds of issues in the US to this day.

I totally agree. Dumb. Just dumb I say.
And yeah! That's wy they need to WAIT 21 days (the Ebola incubation (or whatever) period) before letting people get on a plane to exit Africa :/

There has been a second diagnosis. The nurse who worked with the guy from that other country is now infected, and who knows who she's talked to. If it gets worse, I think the smartest thing to do is quarantine the entire border of Texas. Also quarantine all flights inbound and outbound to infected countries.
No one goes in, and no one gets out. If a massive out break happens. I think it would be safe to use nuclear methods to sterilize the situation.
I know this sounds like over doing it and not being empathetic or selfish. But I think Sometimes to deaths of thousands of people can save millions of lives from this thing. Its the only way to be sure. The questions is, do you want your loved ones and yourself to become ill and die from this strain?
Or do you think those people should take one for their country and ensure the lives of millions?
