Nice, it's always nice to see community on social networks, however you can expand that on Twitter, YouTube, et cetera.

Well I may do that later on down the road, but I think all we really needed at the moment was a facebook, but until our forums community starts to grow we wont need anymore social networking pages.

A Facebook page is definitely one of the best types of social media community to have. However, have you tried creating a Facebook group rather than a page? I find that for forums like this, a group allows for webmasters and owners to more easily chat and exchange ideas. A page is better for advertising a business or product in my opinion.

I have tried a group but not really interested in that right now until I get everything up and running correctly.

I don't think creating a group for a forum would be good idea. Users can discuss and exchange ideas in the forum itself. Creating a group on FB will keep them from posting in the actual forum.
